Job Description:
On behalf of our enterprise client TRS Contract Consulting Group is searching for a Technical Support Specialist. The Technical Support Specialist assists the IT Director, IT Services Manager and the Technical Support Analyst with any project tasks that have been assigned to him/her. The Technical Support Specialist is available as a resource for the strategic, tactical and operational level projects that the IT Department undertakes insofar as this project work does not impinge upon the primary and secondary focus areas.
We are looking
for people with the following skills
and experience:
- 1-2 years of direct front-line technical support or service exprience
- Computer Science Degree
- A+ Certification (or equivalent)
- Related College or Post Secondary education
- MS Windows Server 2003 experience preferred
- MS Exchange Server 2003 experience preferred
- MS SQL Server 2000/2005 experience preferred
- VMWare experience
- Linux RedHat experience (any version) preferred
- Working knowledge IS in a retail environment an asset
- Working knowledge of and/or certification in CISCO networking
- Working knowledge of and/or certification in Current database Web and Application Programming languages
