The Role:
Our Enterprise sized client is currently looking to hire a permanent full-time intermediate Java Programmer / Analyst. The person will work primarily in the J2EE environment using JDBC to access and update SQL databases. The current development environment is Eclipse with several third-party libraries integrated.
Responsibilities:
Provide application support and development through programming and technical analysis of a single, very large, J2EE system and its interfaces.
Experience:
• Internet based web application development using Java, JSP, Servlets, Struts, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, XML, XSLT, Ajax
• Experience in OOP methodology & patterns, and component based development
• Working experience in J2EE (EJB's, Web Services)
• Experience with relational databases (Ansi SQL; BCAA uses DB2 and Oracle)
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent written and oral communication
